There are many traits that are very common on people, for example the eye colors Brown against Blue, in this case Brown would be the dominant color and Blue would be the recessive color, Brown is very likely to be the next result of the offspring.
2) Is it possible for an offspring to have a phenotype that neither the father nor the mother has? Explain your answer.
Yes, although it is really rare for this to happen there can be a slight change of traits and the environment could also condition the phenotypes so that there wouldn't be a full compatibility, and if this happens there could be an offspring that has a different phenotype as their parents. Also the offspring´s grandparents could have had the traits that he has without the offspring's parents having it.
